Getting a professional accountant onboard doesn’t just give you financial freedom, it also gives you back much-needed time to get out & about with the ones you love.
Not sure what to do with the extra hours? As a team of accountants in Cornwall, we’ve been chatting to our clients around the county to discover their top days out….
Truro
When we were carrying out accountancy services for clients in Truro, one of the most popular responses to great local days out was Trelissick, the National Trust house & gardens less than 10 minutes drive out of the city.
A spectacular location, with views down the Fal River, Trelissick is a firm favourite in Cornwall, with wonderful walks for the whole family, including four-legged friends, plus a charming tea room, art gallery and gift shop.
St Ives
Speaking to clients who we support with accountancy and bookkeeping in St Ives, many answered with ‘get out on the water!’.
St Ives really does offer so many different ways to enjoy Cornwall afloat – from hiring a SUP or kayak at the Ocean Sports Centre in Carbis Bay (watch this space for more details), to hopping aboard a boat tour to explore the coast, seeking out seals, dolphins and other wildlife.
There’s lots of options available so no wonder St Ives folk rate it as a great day out for the whole family.
Hayle
As accountants based in Hayle, this is our local stomping ground. If you want to stay local, you can’t beat a trip to Paradise Park, the local wildlife sanctuary, where you can come face to face with over 1000 birds from around the world plus red pandas, red squirrels and asian otters.
If we’re going a little further afield, we share the idea of a top day out with many of our clients who we support with accountancy services in Penzance….
Penzance
You can’t miss St Michaels Mount when you’re visiting Penzance. Only accessible by boat at high tide, or when the tide recedes, take a stroll across the stone causeway.
You’ll find sub-tropical gardens to explore and a delicious cream tea at the cafe. Many people don’t realise that St Michaels Mount is also home to around 30 islanders. When you provide accountancy and bookkeeping in Penzance, you often come across those with friends or family who are part of this unique community.
If you like the sound of any of these Cornish activities, but are struggling to find the time, why not book a callback with the Bickerstaff team?
We’ll explain just how we can deliver real benefits for you and your business, so you can achieve not only your long-term goals, but also get back that all important free time.
